A low-rise, residential development in the Heart of central Wellington, the ARO Living project was shortlisted in the Housing – Multi Unit category at the 2024 NZIA Wellington Architecture Awards.
In the development of this 61-unit project, Egmont Dixon provided both Development and Project Management services from the first feasibility and design conception stages, through to handover and settlement of every individual townhouse.
Our role on this project was all encompassing at every stage of the project. Given the close proximity of this site to our Wellington Office, our team became profoundly familiar with not only the project details, but also the key delivery personnel on both the contractor and consulting teams. Leveraging these relationships, often through simple on-site discussions, our team navigated this project through a series of challenging situations to foster synchronicity between all parties, and ensure that risks and issues were addressed effectively throughout.
