Our client, The Hodge Group purchased a vacant office building in Central Hastings with plans to undertake complete refurbishment of the space. Egmont Dixon’s services on this project included advisory actions during project scoping and the complete delivery of the planned scope of work.

Works completed included a significant seismic upgrade (90% NBS) of the existing structure and the full fitout of the ground floor – with a brief of creating a modern and innovative environment that fosters productivity and collaboration.

Intending to serve as a catalyst for growth and development within the local business community, the overall purpose of the project was to create a flex-lease workspace that transformed 100 Karamu Road into a dynamic and collaborative office space in the heart of Hastings Central Business District.
