The Our Whare Our Fale project, spearheaded by the Central Pacific Collective has been established with the goal of breaking poverty cycles and addressing past inequalities for the Pasifika community in Cannons Creek, Porirua. The first phase of this development is currently underway with the Mua I Malae project, an 18-unit residential development on a large, terraced site.

Egmont Dixon has been engaged to provide development and project management services on this project while assisting in progressing the initial components of the second and third stages, which will add another 12 and 20 houses respectively. To get to the point where works are now underway on site - the project team has had to navigate various challenges, including coordination with Kāinga Ora, managing the intricacies of terraced earthworks design, and supporting a client new to the property development sector.

With the aspiration to successfully deliver an entirely Pacific-lead development that will offer housing opportunities to the local community – Egmont Dixon is committed to seeing this project succeed.
